Hydraulic Engineer
Qualification & Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic systems and industrial equipment.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, manifolds, and control systems.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics, equipment drawings, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of hydraulic troubleshooting, pressure testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
- Good understanding of industrial safety procedures and work practices.
Key Responsibilities / KRA
- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshooting of hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and control systems.
- Diagnose hydraulic system failures and identify root causes.
- Carry out pressure testing, functional testing, and system performance checks.
- Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical drawings.
- Supervise hydraulic equipment overhaul, repair, and assembly activities.
- Prepare service reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with clients and site teams for smooth execution of jobs.
- Ensure compliance with approved procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Guide and supervise hydraulic technicians during site activities.
